Its self-contained design makes the Vulcan K6ETT countertop steam kettle simple to install, requiring no hookups to a boiler or water line. However, for convenient water access, employees can attach a faucet using the included faucet bracket. This setup can reduce labor costs and expedite food prep. When adding ingredients, users can use the embossed markings to measure food in liters and gallons.

This unit cooks food using heat from steam, which is contained in a jacket around the lower two-thirds of the kettle interior. While powered on, an indicator light warns users that the kettle might be hot and a heating light shows users when the unit is still heating up. A third indicator light only turns on if the water level is low, prompting users to refill the jacket. If the jacket water gets too low, the unit stops heating to prevent element burnout and internal damage.

This Vulcan K6ETT tilting steam kettle has a manual tilt lever and pour lip for emptying contents into separate containers. If kept in a single area, the kettle can be bolted down, ensuring the unit does not tip over when pouring out product. All electronic controls are protected from splatter in water-resistant housing and, for user safety, a valve can be used to release steam if the pressure rises too high.
