Description
Veetsan dishwashers are manufactured to provide quality and value. Because Veetsan understands efficiency is an important component of equipment’s overall value, the company’s catalog includes ENERGY STAR dishwashers. Before equipment is certified by the EPA’s ENERGY STAR program, it undergoes third-party testing against strict efficiency standards that continue to change and improve each year; for dishwashers, the ENERGY STAR certification includes a unit’s water consumption, often calculated by the gallons of water it requires to clean each rack.
Veetsan’s lineup of ENERGY STAR equipment includes the VDU30 and the VDH63. The VDU30 is an undercounter dishwasher that uses .82 gallons of water per rack and is capable of washing 30 racks, or an estimated 540 dishes, per hour. The VDH63 is a hood-type dishwasher that uses .54 gallons of water per rack and is capable of washing 63 racks, or an estimated 1,134 dishes, per hour. The VDH63 is a 208-volt unit, but the VDU30 is available in 208- and 240-volt models.
Veetsan Star dishwashers use the high-temperature sanitization method to clean plates, glasses, and other dinnerware. These units come standard with a built-in booster heater to ensure water reaches a minimum rinse temperature of 183 degrees Fahrenheit. Other standard features include detergent and rinse aid pumps, an automatic pumped drain, and revolving upper and lower wash/rinse arms constructed of stainless steel.
