True Refrigeration TRCB-79-86 Description
Capable of supporting as much as 1,084 pounds of equipment, the True TRCB-79-86 chef base has a heavy-duty stainless steel top, and its marine edge is raised to contain spills, keeping floors dry. Chilled ingredients can be stored nearby in the four refrigerated drawers, each of which can hold two full-size food pans. Other configurations of smaller food pans can be stored in the drawers with an adapter bar, although all pans and the adapter must be purchased separately.
The ingredients in the drawers are held at a set temperature from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be monitored with the external digital display. Consistent refrigeration is provided by forced air and a self-contained system, and energy consumption is reduced because polyurethane insulation is foamed throughout the base. For heavy use, the True TRCB-79-86 chef base has a mostly stainless steel exterior with stainless steel-lined drawers. For comfort, drawer handles are firmly attached by foamed-in-place insulation and a sheet metal interlock. The drawers are on stainless steel rollers and slides, which are sturdy for repeated opening and closing.
