Over 24 hours, the Scotsman UF2020A-1 undercounter flake ice machine makes 216 pounds of ice if ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. In warmer environments, the unit will make around 149 pounds per day. Producing flake ice, it can be used in healthcare since this ice type doesn’t pose a choking hazard, and it also works well in supermarkets with seafood and produce displays. Holding 57 pounds, the unit has a built-in storage bin. An ice scoop is included, and the bin door has a slide-back design for convenient access.

Measuring 20 inches wide, the Scotsman UF2020A-1 flake undercounter ice maker fits in tight spaces, and so side clearances aren’t needed, it breathes from the front. It is mounted on 6-inch adjustable legs, and if these are removed and replaced with a floor kit that is not included, the ice machine can fit under 34-inch-high countertops. Including a stainless steel auger and evaporator, sealed bearings, and corrosion-resistant exterior panels, the unit is made with durable components to improve reliability.
