To accommodate fast food restaurants, this Scotsman NH0622A-1 Prodigy Plus ice maker produces 644 pounds of H² ice in 24 hours in ideal conditions. This type of nugget ice is hard and creates a greater beverage displacement than dice cubes, which helps save money on beverages. Its air-cooled, self-contained condenser uses R-404A refrigerant and features a front-breathing design that doesn’t require side clearance. To preserve ice quality, its refrigeration system is sealed to shield internal components from potential airborne contaminants.

The Scotsman NH0622A-1 ice machine head measures 22.70 inches wide by 24.92 inches deep by 23 inches high and can be installed on an ice storage bin. To withstand high-volume use, its auger and evaporator are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and the unit sports a stainless steel finish. An antimicrobial protection agent molded into the unit’s internal surfaces hinders bacterial growth between cleanings to help maintain a sanitary unit. AutoAlert indicating lights are built into a visible location at the front of the unit so operators can quickly discern operational status and maintenance or servicing needs.
