This air-cooled Scotsman NH0422A-1 Prodigy Plus ice machine head uses R-404A refrigerant to produce a maximum of 456 pounds of ice in 24 hours when ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Its H² nugget ice is harder than chewable nugget ice and is ideal for serving drinks at fast food restaurants because its creates a greater beverage displacement than dice cubes. Its sealed refrigeration system helps prevent airborne particulate contamination, while its auger and evaporator’s durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction withstands long-term use.

AgION antimicrobial protection is built into the Scotsman NH0422A-1 ice maker head’s key components to slow bacterial growth between cleanings. The unit’s front panel is removable, providing direct access to internal parts for servicing and maintenance. For flexible installation, its front-breathing design doesn’t require a side clearance. Overall, the 22.70-inch-wide by 24.92-inch-deep by 23-inch-high structure fits atop an ice bin, which is sold separately.
