Each day, the Scotsman C0530MW-1/B530P Prodigy Plus ice maker can make 500 pounds of ice with its water-cooled condenser. When sanitizing, descaling, or other maintenance is needed, AutoAlert indicator lights notify the operator. Its cleaning process activates with the push of a button and eliminates the need for constant monitoring. To protect the unit between cleanings, an antimicrobial agent is molded in, and WaterSense purge control minimizes scale buildup to ensure ice is sanitary. To guide ice into the bin, the Harvest Assist feature uses a probe and a small amount of hot gas.

The Scotsman C0530MW-1/B530P ice bin has a storage capacity of 536 pounds and a rotocast plastic exterior that resists corrosion. It is insulated with polyurethane foam for structural support and ice preservation, and its interior is made of quick-cleaning polyethylene. A scoop is included with a built-in holder to separate it from the ice. Enabling installation in almost any setting, the drain fitting is recessed.
