Since its stainless steel construction has a metallic finish, the Scotsman C0530MA-1/B530S Prodigy Plus ice maker and bin resists corrosion, scratches, and dents. It can store 536 pounds of ice and has polyurethane foam insulation that retains cold air to slow melting. Its interior is made of polyethylene to resist scuffs from its scoop, which can be stored in an integral holder. For flexible installation, this unit has a recessed drain fitting.
The Scotsman C0530MA-1/B530S ice machine has an air-cooled condenser with a front-located air filter that provides higher breathability than a side- or rear-located filter. It can make 525 pounds of ice every 24 hours, and its Harvest Assist feature pushes ice into the bin for a constant supply. Users are informed of the operating status with AutoAlert indicator lights.
