With its air-cooled condensing unit, the ice maker can produce 475 pounds of ice daily. AutoAlert lights notify the user when the unit needs descaling, sanitizing, and other service needs. To access the internal components, the front panel can be removed, and the cleaning process can be started with the push of a button. A WaterSense feature adjusts the water quality to minimize scale buildup, and a molded-in antimicrobial agent keeps the unit sanitary between cleanings.

The Scotsman C0522SA-1/HD22B-1 half-cube ice maker and dispenser has a 120-pound ice storage capacity. Its top panel can be removed to access the bin while the ice head remains in place.
