The Scotsman C0522SA-1/B530S ice machine and bin can make 475 pounds of half-cube ice in a day, which can be used in bags, sodas, or other drinks. Its small shape enables plenty of ice to fit in a glass for quick cooling, and cubes get their shape as they freeze in the evaporator grid. After freezing, the plate is warmed enough to loosen cubes, and a Harvest Assist probe forces them into a bin below.

With a 536-pound storage capacity, this Scotsman C0522SA-1/B530S ice maker and bin can keep a large quantity of ice ready to serve. To reduce melting, its bin is insulated, and for quick interior access, it is spring loaded. For cleanliness, the ice scoop has a holder that keeps contaminants on the handle out of the ice.

This unit includes several features to ease cleaning, as the ice machine itself uses WaterSense controls to reduce limescale buildup and built-in antimicrobial agents to slow mold growth. AutoAlert lights encourage regular cleaning by showing when it is time for sanitation or descaling.
