Description
Meadows is the premier U.S. stone-burr grain mill for making genuine stone-ground flour. Their design and construction reflects over eighty years of refinement and proven reliability. Meadows stone burr grist mills are available in a wide range of sizes and capacities. Models are identified by the diameter of the grinding stones, in inches. The table below lists the available sizes and approximate capacity under normal grinding conditions with dry grains such as wheat, or corn. All mills feature stainless steel feed assemblies and poly or stainless hoppers. Full stainless steel housings are available in the 20″ and 30″ mills. The Meadows 12″ Natural Series II stone burr mill, seen on this page, produces 110 to 190 lbs. of flour per hour, depending on the texture selected.
Meadows mills arrive assembled except to mount hopper, ready to wire into electric service and put to use. Operation is extremely simple, and flour output is of the highest quality. Nutrient content is fully preserved by the natural cool milling action of the large stone burrs. North Carolina Balfour granite stones have high quartz content for superior abrasive qualities and extremely long life—most users get lifetime service from the original stones. Eccentric sifters are available to sift and separate flour if desired.

Thanks to our new Meadows Mill, allowed us to expand into a wider product range. We now have a lot more to offer our customers thanks to the amazing range the mill has. Maintenance is a breeze because the mill is surprisingly user-friendly and cleaning isn’t as tedious as I would expect. For local bakeries and for small farms, this would be a great addition to your business.

Designed for efficiency, this stone mill is really what I need. We basically need to grind at least 500lbs. daily to meet the demand we have. This mill saves a lot of time and energy by making these huge batches in a short amount of time. Our team dedicated to grind the wheat we need do not require the entire day to complete their goal. They can now assist in the needs of other departments we have. The mill doesn’t take up a lot of space as well. I highly appreciate that it is spark/combustion proof and it also isn’t difficult to maintain. Partilcles easily come off upon cleaning. A huge purchase but practically saved us a lot in production time and cost to accomplish each batch.
