The Manitowoc IYT-1200N ice machine head makes half-dice ice and is a remote unit that enables the condenser (sold separately) to be placed out of customer-facing areas, isolating noise and heat production. It can produce 1,150 pounds in 24 hours. The DuraTech coating on the exterior is highly resistant to corrosion and has a clear coating that hides dirt and fingerprints. Its wide door and removable components make the interior easy to clean. Some of the components are made with AlphaSan antimicrobial, slowing down the growth of bacteria.

The Manitowoc IYT-1200N ice machine head features a user-friendly easyTouch display. Potential system problems are monitored by the unit’s self-diagnostic system. It can be programmed to save energy by reducing ice production at select times. The unit should be installed in areas with ambient temperatures between 40 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit requires an ice bin attachment that is sold separately.
