Depending on surrounding conditions, the Manitowoc IDT1900A Indigo NXT ice machine head can make 1,470 to 1,965 pounds of dice ice cubes every 24 hours. To suit specific applications, ice amount can be programmed based on time of day or volume. An acoustical sensing probe measures ice thickness, ensuring each cycle is uniform and consistent. When operators are cleaning the unit, the foodzone is accessible with removable components that simplify the process. Its DuraTech exterior resists corrosion and hides smudges and dirt.

This air-cooled Manitowoc IDT1900A ice maker head has an easyTouch display that notifies the operator of the temperature, production, and preventive maintenance needs; it also has 24-hour diagnostic feedback. To ensure consistent ice production, this machine uses CFC-free R410 refrigerant. Because of its 48-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep by 29.5-inch-high frame, this ice maker fits on top of a separately sold D970 ice storage bin.
