This portable unit can be utilized in settings such as cafeterias, medical facilities, and buffet-style restaurants, and to provide comfortable access, its cord and plug and power switch are mounted on the side.

The temperature of the Hatco GRSS-6018 warming shelf can be set between 100 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit using thermostatic controls. To promote even heat distribution and maintain product quality, it features a blanket-type heating element.
