The Hatco CWBR-1 drop-in well’s condensing unit uses R-513A refrigerant to produce cool temperatures, keeping prechilled products fresh for hours. Staff can adjust temperatures with the control panel to accommodate changing menus and initiate an automatic defrost to eliminate unsightly ice buildup. The angled interior wall enables cool air to blanket the displayed food pan for uniform temperature distribution. To ease condenser maintenance, this unit includes a sight glass, service valves, a receiver, and a filter/dryer. Because it’s built with a 1-inch NPT drain, cleaning between uses is streamlined.

To accommodate various food bar setups, the Hatco CWBR-1 refrigerated drop-in well’s condensing unit and control panel ship unassembled for remote installation. The condensing unit can be field mounted up to 50 feet away from the unit for convenience and improved performance, while the control panel includes 9-foot-long probe wires. This 19-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 12-inch-tall unit can be dropped into a cutout as small as 17¹³/₁₀₀ inches wide by 25¹⁹/₁₀₀ inches deep and as large as 18 inches wide by 26 inches deep for a recessed, streamlined appearance. To complement other pieces of Hatco equipment, it’s made of aluminized steel and includes a stainless steel bezel. Great for appetizers, entrees, or sides, it accommodates one 12-inch by 20-inch food pan.
