Great for buffet lines and salad bars, the Hatco CWB-4 drop-in well’s 58-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 25¹/₂-inch-tall body accommodates four full-size food pans. For a sleek, recessed appearance, it can be dropped into a cutout as large as 57 inches wide by 26 inches deep. This corrosion-resistant aluminized steel unit provides lasting durability through front-of-house use and matches other refrigerated food wells from Hatco, establishing uniformity along buffet lines. For simple cleanup between uses, it’s built with a 1-inch NPT brass drain. Users can simply perform maintenance using the sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter, receiver, and long, flexible refrigerant line. To ease installation, the condenser can be rotated 90 or 180 degrees.

The Hatco CWB-4 refrigerated well generates and maintains safe, cool temperatures with R-513A refrigerant. Operators can adjust temperatures with the advanced electronic controller, which can be installed remotely or on either side of the condensing unit. This controller includes an auto-defrost setting that eliminates frost buildup to preserve product quality and maintain a professional display. Its angled interior wall enables cool air to blanket the food pans, while environmentally friendly insulation built throughout the unit retains chill.
