Garland XPG12
The Garland XPE12 XPress commercial press griddle’s two plates cook both sides of food at the same time, decreasing the time chefs spend on each order. The top platen adjusts automatically with a lift system to cook different products. A 3/4-inch carbon steel bottom plate has good heat up and recovery times, though it doesn’t hold that heat as well as thicker plates.
To contain splatter, the Garland XPE12 clam shell griddle has side splash guards that direct food matter into the griddle’s side-mounted grease pans. With programmable controls, this unit can be set for custom cooking times, temperatures, and plate gaps. Protection from corrosion and scratches is provided by the stainless steel construction of the front, sides, and top.
