Equipex SEM-80VC-3 Description
The Equipex SEM-80VC-3 salamander uses vitroceramic elements to finish foods, whether melting cheeses or glazing desserts. Because it heats up quickly, it can be turned on and off as needed to save energy. It is controlled by a switch that activates the left side, right side, or the entire top.
Staff can lower the top closer to the food on the rack to suit different foods and, when the rack is at its bottommost position, it can provide a temperature of 1,060 degrees Fahrenheit. This Equipex SEM-80VC-3 salamander is constructed of stainless steel for durability and its wire rack is removable to facilitate cleaning. A shallow layer of water can be poured into the pull-out tray, quenching drippings and keeping food from sticking.
