Description
The Equipex GL650 UC drop-in induction cooktop can be installed underneath a stone, glass, or concrete countertop, and the included Induc’Mate spacer goes directly on top of the counter, over the area where the cooktop is installed. This setup will protect the counter from heat and scratches. Typically, the controls are mounted in front of the unit so employees can change the power level, though they are remotely designed and can be installed in the most convenient area.
The cooktop has a total of 20 power options, so it works great for a variety of dishes. It heats pans by induction, using a magnetic field that only heats magnetic cookware, resulting in little energy loss and is more efficiency than cooking on an electric stovetop. To prevent overheating, the unit shuts off automatically when no pan is on top, and two cooling fans provide constant airflow. As air flows in, a grease filter catches vapors and dust, ensuring they do not clog internal components.
