To reduce the cost of energy and retain chill, the Delfield GUR27P-S one-section undercounter refrigerator is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane. While the single door self-closes when it’s swung open less than 90 degrees, it will stay open to facilitate loading if it’s pushed back more than that. A gasket around the door helps prevent cold air from escaping when it’s shut, and to ensure it doesn’t get in the way in a crowded kitchen, the handle is integrated into the door.

The Delfield GUR27P-S undercounter refrigerator has one shelf in its single section, and this shelf is epoxy coated to protect it from corrosion and provide durability. Its electronic controls let operators adjust the temperature in the cabinet from 33 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. If maintenance is needed, the refrigeration unit is in the rear and uses an environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This durable unit has a stainless steel top and front and can be maneuvered through the kitchen on 5-inch, mounted-on casters.
