CookTek MCD3500 Description
Electricity flowing through a dense copper coil in the CookTek MCD3500 drop-in induction cooktop creates a magnetic field just above the cooking surface, and when an induction-compatible pan comes in contact with this field, electrons in the pan’s metal vibrate to generate the friction users cook with. When compatible cookware is placed on the glass ceramic top, the unit instantly transmits energy to it and provides even heat distribution across its bottom.
This CookTek MCD3500 commercial induction cooktop operates at temperatures between 85 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit with 22 temperature settings and 20 power cook settings. To prevent overheating, the unit has an automatic shut-off feature and an integral fan that cools the components. Providing feedback on the LED display, the microprocessor checks for issues with power supply and overheating.
