Description
The Ankarsrum Flaker Mil is great for making fresh oatmeal from oat groats (groats are oats that have had the hulls removed). Homemade oatmeal made with this process has thicker, chewier flakes than the store-purchased sort and, being fresh, is much more delicious. Harder grains (most wheat, for example) tend to shatter in the roller, which is useful for some purposes.
