It provides three-sided protection, with a ³/₈-inch-thick glass front panel and ¹/₄-inch-thick glass side panels. Because this glass is heat tempered, it’s strengthened for break resistance. If the glass does break, it shatters into blunt, pebble-like pieces instead of large, sharp shards. For flexibility that suits different buffet configurations, the front panel is adjustable in 15-degree intervals with built-in technology that locks it in place.
