Using a full-range thermostat, operators of the Carter-Hoffmann ST181 meal delivery cart can adjust the unit to temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. To achieve these temperatures, the unit is heated by Inconel-sheathed elements mounted in the bottom. The cabinet holds six 18-inch by 26-inch trays or (12) 12-inch by 20-inch pans, providing plenty of room to store food.
This Carter-Hoffmann ST181 heated meal delivery cart can be maneuvered through a medical facility or banquet hall on 6-inch swivel casters. It has a vinyl bumper that wraps around the bottom, protecting the unit and its surroundings if users bump into something. Reducing energy loss, the cabinet is insulated with 1-inch-thick fiberglass. With a stainless steel construction, this cart is durable enough for high-volume use.
