The Kolpak QS7-1010-FT Polar-Pak indoor walk-in freezer operates at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature can be monitored on the dial thermometer, which is easy to see on the exterior. The refrigeration system is ceiling mounted, which prevents unauthorized users from accessing it. Because the system adds height to the unit, it is important that operators have a space with relatively high ceilings.
Durable to withstand use in high-volume operations, the Kolpak QS7-1010-FT walk-in freezer has galvalume interior and exterior panels; this sheet steel is coated in zinc to resist corrosion. Polyurethane is foamed in place between the wall panels, creating a dense shield to prevent heat transfer. This unit comes with a floor that also retains cold air and has coved corners to eliminate crevices that could trap crumbs, facilitating cleanup. Hinged on the right, the door has strength to withstand heavy use and creates a seal that eliminates condensation.
