Vulcan 60SS-10B Description
The Vulcan 60SS-10B gas range has ten 30,000 BTU open top burners with lift-off heads. For every two burners, there is one pilot, and this system is known as a shrouded flash tube pilot system, which reduces gas use. The front grates are 12 inches wide by 121/2 inches deep and lift off easily to simplify the cleaning process. Since the rear grates are 12 inches wide by 141/2 inches deep, they create enough space to accommodate stock pots and large pans. Aeration bowls are integrated into each grate to add durability to the fingers and direct heat efficiently toward cooking instruments. To keep operators safe, the control knobs stay cool to the touch.
There are two ovens built into the Vulcan 60SS-10B gas range. The left oven accommodates 18-inch-by-26-inch pans front to back, while the right oven can hold 18-inch-by-26-inch pans both front to back and side to side. Each oven has two racks that is adjustable to four positions, providing versatility to prepare many products. Since the ovens’ bottoms and door panels are made of porcelain, they are easier to clean than steel surfaces. The thermostats can be adjusted from 250 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Controls for the ovens are mounted in an insulated side compartment to keep them shielded from the heat.
