The True TWT-27-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator has a self-contained, capillary tube system that uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Its refrigeration system uses guided airflow and maintains a set, uniform temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The electronically commutated fan motors are designed to generate minimal heat and use little energy for peak efficiency. Its epoxy-coated evaporator resists corrosion and the condensing unit—located in the back—slides out for maintenance. This stainless steel refrigerator features a backsplash and countertop that are formed from a single piece to keep bacteria and food from falling into inaccessible crevices. The countertop is flush with the front of the doors and the cabinet is insulated with high-density polyurethane.

The self-closing, positive-seal door of the True TWT-27-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator swings within the cabinet dimensions and has a 90-degree, stay-open feature. An all-metal handle is fitted to the aluminum-lined door, which also has a removable, one-piece gasket. The two shelves are made of PVC-coated wire and each include four chrome-plated shelf clips. Shelves are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments with support pilasters made of the same material as the cabinet interior. This unit features 5-inch-diameter stem castors with locks provided on the front set and a 36-inches-high work surface.
