Description
The Turbo Air TAHP-48-8 Radiance gas hotplate sends heat directly to the cooking surface with the grooved design of its 12-inch by 12-inch top grates. They are specially crafted to enable pots to slide across them, and because the grates are made of cast iron, they are durable for heavy use. Controlled by an adjustable standing pilot, eight lift-off burners are powered by natural gas and can be converted to use LP gas instead if necessary.
To ease cleanup on this the Turbo Air TAHP-48-8 hotplate, the burners have a detachable, two-piece construction, and the full-width grease pan is removable. A 4-inch front ledge offers a place to plate food on this unit. Stainless steel legs elevate the hotplate off countertops to reduce the risk of parts overheating.
