Hatco C-45 Compact Booster Water Heater, 6 Gallon, 45 kW

The Hatco C-45 Compact booster heater works with a commercial dishwasher to ensure water is heated to 180 degrees Fahrenheit – the temperature required to properly sanitize dishes and flatware. With a 6-gallon capacity, this heater can provide 452 gallons per hour with a rise of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 258 gallons per hour with a rise of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. A Castone cement lining provides a non-corrosive and non-toxic surface in the steel tank, while fiberglass insulation prevents heat loss to maintain hot temperatures.

Several facets in the Hatco C-45 booster heater ensure proper operation, such as the low-water cut-off feature that prevents burnouts and a high-temperature limit that prevents the heater from overheating. An indicator light shows when the unit is warming water, while temperature and pressure gauges display the water conditions. When not in use, employees can flip the on/off switch, shutting down the unit and reducing energy consumption. The front panel swings away to provide access to the interior so maintenance and repair can be performed.
