To slow bacterial growth, the Scotsman HID540W-1 countertop nugget ice and water dispenser is protected by AgION antimicrobial. It includes a QR code that is unit specific, providing access to key information about the machine whenever it’s scanned. To update its system, this unit includes a USB drive. It cools with environmentally friendly R-404A refrigerant and its condenser is water cooled.
The Scotsman HID540W-1 countertop ice dispenser produces nugget ice. It can make 500 pounds of ice daily in ideal conditions, but when temperatures are too high, it makes closer to 400 pounds of ice daily. This unit’s removable front panel and storage bin streamline cleaning and maintenance. Its bin accommodates 40 pounds of ice, ensuring it’s ready when needed. If something goes wrong, an LED light informs users that service is required.
