Designed to collect and store ice from the Scotsman FS0822A-1 flake ice machine, the B530S ice bin features polyurethane foam insulation and a built-in drain to minimize ice melt and preserve stored product. Its interior liner is made of durable polyethylene to withstand frequent impact from the ice scoop without scrapes or chips. For comfortable access to the bin’s contents, it’s raised within reach on 6-inch legs, and its front-facing, top-hinged door can be operated one handed. It can accommodate as much as 536 pounds of ice, helping users to meet demand during high-volume periods.
Resting atop the B530S ice storage bin, the Scotsman FS0822A-1 flake ice maker measures just 22 inches wide and has a front-breathing system that enables installation without side clearance. Alerting users when maintenance is needed, the unit features built-in indicator lights and has sealed bearings for extended performance with minimal intervention. To resist bacterial or mold spores development in the machine between cleanings, it’s treated with antimicrobial enhancement. The machine’s exterior, auger, and evaporator are made of stainless steel, enhancing its resistance to rust and corrosion.
