Description
With the Equipex GED40 double waffle maker, operators can create thin waffles that are ideal for making bowls or ice cream cones, and to make a waffle, users must simply push the power switch and twist the heat knob to the correct setting. Both the pilot and temperature lights will illuminate, and when ready, the temperature light will go out to signal the plates have reached the set temperature. Batter can then be poured in and the top can be lowered.
Designed with plenty of room for the waffle to bake, the top plate of the Equipex GED40 cone waffle baker is hinged and sturdy, and though batter may flow out the sides as it expands, a drip tray wraps around the bottom plate to catch it. This tray is removable for cleaning, and the stainless steel base can be wiped clean. To prevent waffles from tearing, the plates are made of cast iron, which is nonstick when properly seasoned.
