With 14-inch-long plates, the Equipex PANINI commercial panini press can grill large sandwiches, while the grooves on the plates create grill marks on both sides of product for classic paninis. Employees can set the temperature as hot as 570 degrees Fahrenheit, and to reduce wait times, the cast iron plates retain heat. The counterbalanced top adjusts automatically to the sandwich thickness and settles flat on top for even heating.
This Equipex PANINI panini press has manual, front-facing controls, including a power switch, temperature knob, and indicator lights. A power switch provides a fast way to start the unit in the morning, and because the temperature knob is separate, it can heat up to previous cooking temperature without extra adjustments. Once the unit is ready for sandwiches, the red heating light will turn off. As the temperature fluctuates, this light will shine, indicating the plates are heating. To speed up daily cleaning tasks, this unit includes a pull-out crumb tray and plate scraper.
