On its 14-inch-wide grill surface, the Equipex PANINI commercial panini press can accommodate long sandwiches. The plates get as hot as 570 degrees Fahrenheit for fast cooking, and their cast iron construction loses heat slowly, cutting down on warm-up times. While to top is grooved to make attractive grill marks, the bottom is smooth, warming product uniformly. Because the top plate is self-balancing, even thick sandwiches can be pressed between the plates.
To ensure this Equipex PANINI panini press is user friendly, its controls are simple. An on/off switch controls the power supply, and a rotary knob on the front selects the temperature. For operator safety, status lights show the unit is on and when the plates are warming up. For quick cleaning, the machine’s exterior is stainless steel, and its crumb tray can be completely removed for emptying. A scraper is included, so users can remove carbon buildup at the end of each day.
