In a day, the Manitowoc Ice IDT0750/D570 ice maker and bin can produce 703 pounds of full-cube dice ice. So operators can choose when and how much it makes that day, it is programmable. The machine is controlled by a touchscreen on the front, and users can click on icons to view the various settings. When the self-diagnostics find a potential problem, alerts will show up on the display with maintenance recommendations.
The Manitowoc Ice D570 ice bin can hold 532 pounds of ice, storing it for peak business hours. So users can comfortable reach down into the bin, the lid is angled 53 degrees, and a self-latching mechanism holds the bin door open while users are scooping. To keep ice pure, the ice scoop has a built-in guard around the knuckle and thumb, and so the scoop’s handle stays out of the ice, a scoop holder is integrated into the bin.
When cleaning the Manitowoc Ice IDT0750 ice machine, operators can access the foodzone through the front, and once the front panel is swung open, they can then remove foodzone components for thorough cleaning.
